Vancouver Boudoir Photographer

What We Offer

You do not need to know how to pose. You do not need to feel confident before you walk through my doors. And my dears, being photogenic or not, is simply not a thing.

Maybe you've been thinking about this for a while. Not because you suddenly woke up wanting lingerie photographs. Maybe your body has changed. Maybe you've spent years taking care of everybody else. Maybe you haven't recognized the woman in the mirror lately. Maybe you're celebrating 25, 30, 40, 50, 70, a divorce, a marriage, a new chapter—or absolutely nothing other than wanting this for yourself. Maybe you're curious as hell but terrified you'll look ridiculous. You're exactly the person I know how to photograph.

I create luxury boudoir photography experiences for women in Vancouver, Washington, Portland, Oregon, and throughout the Pacific Northwest. Every part of the experience is guided, from our first conversation and session planning to posing, lighting, your image reveal, and the creation of your finished artwork.

My work is known for being bold, color-drenched and built around intentional lighting. I do not simply photograph what you look like. I use light, shadow and rich color to turn you into art. Your finished gallery will be you as I see you, powerful, striking and unmistakably created in the studio of Amanda Chantee. Your only job is to show up and I will take care of the rest.

A Luxury Vancouver Boudoir Photography Experience

Luxury is not about adding a robe, a glass of champagne, and calling it an experience.

It is about being fully taken care of. Your session begins with a real conversation. I want to know what brought you here, what you are nervous about, what you want to create, and how you want to feel when you see your portraits. Maybe you want something bold and powerful. Maybe you want something quiet, sensual, and understated. Maybe you want deep shadows, rich color, anonymous images for a layer of discretion, or a collection that brings several sides of you together. We will plan the session around you.

Nothing is rushed. Nothing is left for you to figure out alone. I will guide you through the entire process so you can be present in the experience instead of worrying about whether you are doing it right.

Choosing a Trusted Vancouver Boudoir Photographer

Trust matters when you are choosing a boudoir photographer. You are allowing someone into a vulnerable and deeply personal experience. That deserves more than a quick text exchange and a payment link. I prefer to begin with a discovery call over Zoom so we can meet face-to-face before you book. You can ask questions, talk through your concerns, discuss your boundaries, and get a clear sense of what it will feel like to work together. I also want to make sure I am the right photographer for you. You should know who will be present during your session. You should understand how your images will be handled. You should feel comfortable asking direct questions. You should never feel pressured into an outfit, pose, or level of exposure that does not feel right to you. Your boundaries will be discussed before your session and respected throughout it. You are encouraged to bring one trusted support person with you.

Your privacy, comfort, and safety are not extras. They are part of the foundation of the experience.

Expert Boudoir Posing for Every Body

Almost every woman who contacts me says the same thing: “I have no idea what to do in front of a camera.”

Good. You do not need to, nor do I expect you to.

I will guide you through every pose, every movement, and every expression. I will show you where to place your hands, how to shift your weight, where to look, and what to do with your face. I often demonstrate the pose myself so you are never left standing there wondering what comes next. I am paying attention to all the small details while you stay present. Your hands. Your posture. Your chin. Your hair. The angle of your body. The way the light is shaping you. You do not need modeling experience. You do not need to practice beforehand. You do not need to become more flexible, lose weight, or wait until you feel more confident. You need a photographer who understands light, posing, connection, and how to guide you well.

I will be your biggest hype woman the entire time. Not with fake compliments or forced energy. I will show you what I am seeing and remind you when you are doing better than you think, which happens constantly.

Bold, Fine Art Boudoir Photography

Your portraits should look and feel like you chose them on purpose.

My work is deeply influenced by bold color, dramatic lighting, intentional shadow, movement, and the way light shapes the body. I create portraits that can feel powerful, mysterious, soft, vibrant, intimate, or all of those things at once.

Some clients want a private album filled with images that feel deeply personal. Others want one large-scale portrait that lives on the wall as a true piece of art. Many choose both.

The goal is not to create a set of trendy images that look like everyone else’s. The goal is to create something that feels like you, photographed with intention and finished with the quality of artwork worth keeping.

Your Private Vancouver Boudoir Studio Near Portland

Your session takes place in my private Vancouver-area portrait studio, located just outside Portland, Oregon.

The studio is calm, professional, and designed for intentional portrait work. You will not be sharing the space with strangers or moving through a busy public studio while trying to stay present in the experience.

Clients travel to me from Vancouver, Portland, Southwest Washington, Northwest Oregon, and throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Inside the studio, we can create a wide range of portraits using dramatic lighting, rich color, deep shadows, simple sets, fabric, movement, and carefully chosen details.

You do not need an entire suitcase of expensive lingerie. A bodysuit, a favorite jacket, an oversized shirt, a sheet, a pair of heels, or something personal to you can photograph beautifully. The wardrobe should support the portrait. It should never overpower you. Please know that with all of my sessions, I do not limit your number of looks. Bring pieces you’d like to consider for your session and we’ll curate your looks together.

What Happens During a Vancouver Boudoir Session

  • Before Your Session

We begin with a discovery call and planning conversation. We will talk about your vision, comfort level, boundaries, wardrobe, and the overall feeling you want your portraits to have. You will know what to bring, what to expect, and how the day will flow before you arrive.

  • During Your Session

You will be fully guided from beginning to end. I will direct your posing, hands, expression, movement, and placement in the light. You will never be expected to perform or figure it out on your own. I will demonstrate poses, then pose along with you as you move through variations to maximize your image variety in your final gallery. Your job is to stay present. My job is to make sure you look incredible. You will never hear me say no you’re not doing it right. You will hear me say, “Yessss, this is perfect. You’re killing it. You are so amazing!”

  • After Your Session

You will view your portraits during your reveal and ordering appointment. I will help you choose the images you love and decide how you want to preserve them through a private album, custom wall art, or a portrait collection created around you. You can explore boudoir session pricing and finished artwork on the Investment Page. You can also read the FAQs for more information about preparation, privacy, retouching, image sharing, and what happens after you book.
